Rachel Carr

Rachel Carr, LICSWA

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate (LICSWA) in the State of Washington. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University. I am an empathetic and compassionate therapist who works with adults, children, couples, and families.

I use a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy when addressing client's needs. I have experience in the areas of grief and loss, identity formation, self-esteem issues, conflict and dispute resolution, intimate partner violence, sexual addiction, spiritual abuse, anxiety, depression, motherhood and postpartum, parenting and behavioral concerns in children.

I have a passion for guiding clients in recognizing their strengths and abilities, identifying destructive thinking patterns through a lens of curiosity, breaking generational cycles, overcoming obstacles and developing positive coping skills. It takes courage to do the deep, inner work that leads to healing and transformation. I believe therapy is a place where you should feel seen, valued, and honored right where you are.

I have been married for 15 years to my husband and we have three children. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching my kiddos new activities, crafting and painting. I also have a love of the outdoors and am always up for hiking, dirt biking, skiing or rafting.
