Hello, everyone! I'm Sundae—yes, just like the delicious ice cream treat! I’m diving headfirst into my graduate studies at Walla Walla University, where I’m pursuing a master’s degree in social work and sociology. My journey took a significant turn in 2020; after an altering experience, I faced a pivotal moment that inspired me to leave my federal government job and chase my true passion: counseling.

Before embarking on this transformative path at Walla Walla, I earned my bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, focusing on correctional support and substance abuse. As part of my social work program, I’m engaging in a practicum that enhances my classroom learning with real-world experience. My previous practicum with a local school district allowed me to support children and families dealing with various behavioral challenges and connect them to vital resources.

I’m thrilled to take on my clinical practicum with Dragonfly Counseling. This opportunity will enable me to work with children and adults, providing tailored counseling services, one-on-one care, and flexible resources for our rural clients. I can’t wait to grow alongside the incredible staff at Dragonfly and make a meaningful impact on the lives of my clients.

When I’m not immersed in my studies, I can explore new destinations with my daughters, enjoy thrilling water sports, or unleash my creativity through painting. I’m looking forward to this exciting journey ahead!
